Man arrested after discovery ofa man who died in the Trois Vallons district of L’Isle-d’Abeau in Nord-Isère admitted the facts in police custody. The 22-year-old suspect explained to investigators that he killed this man because he humiliated him regularly. It was he who indicated the location of the body to the gendarmes on the night of Wednesday August 24 to Thursday August 25.
He asks to call the gendarmes because he killed someone
The suspect was in the town of Four around 3:45 a.m. when he asked a witness to call the gendarmerie because he had committed a murder, explains the Vienna prosecutor’s office. Ten minutes later, he was arrested and taken into custody for intentional homicide.
The alleged murderer, aged 22, then guides the gendarmes to the Trois Vallons district where the body is. The victim has three wounds that appear to have been caused by bullets. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. in order to confirm it. A 12mm caliber sawed-off shotgun was found, again following the instructions of the respondent.
The two men knew each other
In police custody, he therefore admitted the facts and explained that he had gone armed at the meeting set by the victim. He details having him shot twice at a parking lot in Villefontaine around 2 a.m. and then driving the victim to L’Isle-d’Abeau before shooting him a third time.
According to the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, the suspect explains his gesture by “the regular humiliations that the victim subjected him to, in particular during an altercation that took place the day before” Tuesday, August 23 around 7 p.m. The victim had “violently slapped” the defendant in front of other people.
The two men are from Villefontaine. the alleged murderer must be presented this Friday to an examining magistrate of the criminal center of Grenoble. He had been sentenced to a 6-month suspended prison sentence in 2021 for “possession and transport of narcotics.”
