Recall that an investigation was opened earlier this week after the owner of a boat deliberately entered a pontoon, where children were, on the White River.
The suspect was apprehended by officers in the past few hours and has already been released on a promise to appear at a later date.
The police refuse to reveal the identity of the arrested person. The DPCP has not yet authorized the filing of charges against this individual.
The investigation is still ongoing and further arrests may follow.
Regarding the other investigation opened by the SPVG concerning a similar incident, it was impossible to know if it was the same individual.
