It is a huge cemetery of cars, hundreds of charred or bullet-riddled carcasses, lined up on a vacant lot, very close to the site of the Hamas attack. A month later, survivors returned for the first time. Laura Blajman Kadar finds her caravan. On October 7, this French woman remained hidden inside for hours. “There, there were four of us. Me, I was sitting there with a friend of mine, and two more here, my husband was sitting right there, he was holding the door closed“, she says.

Rekindled traumas

By some miracle, the terrorists are unable to force the caravan. The group escapes unscathed. “I can’t believe it was this little piece of plastic, nothing at all, that saved our lives from the Hamas terrorists.”, confides the emotional survivor. This return awakens traumas. In the parking lot, cars were abandoned in panic. Back on the scene, the survivors are stunned.
