Survive incest hell

Incest, how to survive and rebuild after such a trauma? According to a survey carried out by Ipsos for the Face à l’inceste association and published in November 2020, there are 6.7 million victims of incest in France, i.e. 1 out of 10 French people ! And in 80% of cases, this violence is committed within the family. The numbers are chilling. A study by the National Observatory of Delinquency and Penal Responses (ONDRP), of December 16, 2020, reveals that 95% of perpetrators are men and 77% of victims are girlshalf of whom would be under four years old.

How is the mechanism of incest set up? How to break the silence? What trauma does incest leave? What to do to act against incest? And above all, how to rebuild oneself after having been a victim of incest?
