A few weeks ago, Slimane announced to his community on social networks that he needed to take a break. “BRIEF, I need a break”, he said. “Here we are at the end of this fabulous adventure, at the end of this fabulous first part of the VersuS tour but also and above all at the start of a new story… Before coming back I hope so more than ever I think in any franchise needs a few months off and what better way to say see you soon than an unreleased song with a theme inspired by you!”. A message concludes with a positive note. “Thank you for everything… It’s not a farewell, it’s not even a goodbye, I’ll be back soon…”.
A news that caused a stir, especially after the announcement of his separation from Vitaa, with whom he formed (or formed) a duo that has met with enormous success in recent years.
“This project was a parenthesis in our solo careers, a very nice parenthesis”, had explained the winner of the fifth season of The Voice. “Resuming our solo careers was just planned. People will have to get used to the idea of Vitaa without Slimane and vice versa. We had a life before, we will have a life after”.
The one who no longer sees herself as a friend but as her sister is currently pregnant with her third child. However, the two friends are expected for the rest of their big tour which will take them to Paris La Défense Arena on Saturday December 17, 2022 to end this enchanted parenthesis in style!
