In the town of Lacanau, there are many surf clubs. They will be able to inform you and offer you the ideal training to learn how to stand on a board. We chose the Lacanau Surf Club. It has existed since 1968. Classes and courses are given in small groups of 6 to 8 people. The level of each student is important and the lessons are adapted to the level.

The price includes:
- A 2-hour lesson supervised by a state-qualified instructor (1h30 for the little ones).
- A board adapted to your level and your size.
- A combination depending on the weather and water temperature
- Access to changing rooms and hot showers if sanitary conditions permit.
The Lacanau Surf Club surf school is a monument of French surfing, the LSC is one of the agitators of surf culture. If Biarritz was a base for the first Californian surfers who thus brought surfing and its culture, Lacanau was not left out. Its history and its surfing adventures make it indeed a monument!
