The QMJHL has decided not to take action against a Halifax Mooseheads player who allegedly darted a Gatineau Olympiques fan as he left the rink after Wednesday night’s game at the Slush Puppie Centre.
The Olympiques won the duel 3-2 after a shootout. As he exited the rink, in front of a horde of rowdy fans, forward Zachary L’Heureux allegedly hit a 16-year-old teenager in the stomach with his stick before walking down the hallway leading to the locker room.
