Super Bowl returning to Las Vegas soon?

Both the spectators gathered at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, and the millions of people watching the Super Bowl in front of their screens around the world noticed the “glamorous” side of Las Vegas, the city which hosted the Super Bowl on Sunday, and they will probably have to get used to it.

Following the victory of the Kansas City Chiefs at the expense of the San Francisco 49ers, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell raised the possibility of organizing the game again in the City of Vice within a few years. To say that Sunday’s event was a success in the eyes of the league is an understatement.

“It’s fair to say that the NFL expects to come back here, it’s been an incredible success,” said Goodell, who noted the contribution of Las Vegas franchise owner Mark Davis. This could not have happened without the support of the Raiders. As I mentioned all week, he was speaking before his team moved [en provenance d’Oakland] of the importance of holding a Super Bowl here. You could feel the energy, the warm welcome.”

“You did it!” he added.

The bar will thus be high for New Orleans, location of the annual final in 2025. Subsequently, the game will be held in Santa Clara (where the San Francisco 49ers play) in 2026 and in Los Angeles the following year.
