James William Awad assures us that he has filled his bank accounts by developing new methods of programming websites. “I started the business at 14 years old. I started programming when I was 11, ”he wrote to Press in an exchange of private messages on Twitter.

One board of directors with only one director
According to his explanations, this company owns several other companies in fields as diverse as training centers, pizza, advertising and telecommunications. All their profits go back to the Quebec subsidiary of TripleOne, run by a board of directors… Of which he is the only member.
He ensures that the company is already producing profits, but he does not want to quantify them. He keeps 3.5% to himself, according to his explanations. It also redistributes the same proportion between six executives who run subsidiaries, such as Astrofit Gym and a pizza concept, Crusty Crust.
Former Montreal Impact player Anthony Jackson-Hamel is one of those leaders. He is said to be the head of Cranberry, an advertising agency.
Besides the money paid to the Seven Bosses, the rest of the funds that flow back into TripleOne are used to run the business and develop new ideas, according to documentation James William Awad has posted online. More importantly, the company says it wants to use it in the future to “reward” customers who share through its online platform ways to improve existing businesses.

Six times more profit than others
Two of the executives of the company, Sarah Anton and Yahia Hikmas, founded Astrofit Gym in late 2017, then sold the company to TripleOne in late 2019 for an undisclosed amount.
