Sunny weather in southern Quebec

The weather will generally be sunny in southern Quebec, while in the central and eastern part of the province more clouds and even episodes of snow showers are expected with seasonal temperatures.

The scenario that prevailed on Monday will be almost identical in the southern sectors from Gatineau to Montérégie, via Montreal and Lanaudière, with mercury exceeding 4 degrees.

Environment Canada forecasts generally cloudy weather in Quebec, Mauricie, Beauce and Estrie, with temperatures dropping, but still above freezing.

On the other hand, in the sectors a little further north, we can expect a few snow showers with colder weather due to the wind chill in force, especially in the morning.

In the Bas-Saint-Laurent and on the Côte-Nord, the federal agency predicts accumulations of 2 to 4 centimeters of snow with blowing snow in places and strong winds, even gusts at 50 km/h, while the mercury will stay above the freezing point.
