Sunny under the cold Tuesday in southern Quebec

Quebecers should take advantage of the beautiful sunny day on Tuesday, even if the temperatures will be below normal for the season, while waiting for the arrival of a rainy system on Wednesday.

There will therefore be nothing under the clear sky of Quebec, except for a few temporary clouds in the western and eastern sectors of the province.

In Montreal and Montérégie, the weather will generally be sunny with temperatures not exceeding the freezing point, according to Environment Canada forecasts.

For the sectors in the center of the province, the same scenario is theoretically predicted with, however, colder temperatures, particularly in Quebec City, Saguenay and Estrie.

The weather will be half fig half grape in eastern Quebec, while some areas will be more cloudy than others, but the mercury will be down.

The federal agency also forecasts strong winds with gusts of 50 km/h in Gaspésie and on the North Shore.

On the other hand, a low pressure system will bring more rain on Wednesday with strong winds for the sectors of the St. Lawrence River valley and central Quebec.

“Significant amounts of rain are forecast for Wednesday with the passage of a low pressure system,” Environment Canada said.
