Tomas Hertl scored on the power play 1:23 into overtime and the Vegas Golden Knights erased a three-goal deficit to defeat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 on Sunday.
The Golden Knights trailed 3-0 after two periods, but William Karlsson scored twice to reach 30 goals this season and Ivan Barbashev also found the back of the net to force an overtime period. .
Adin Hill made 21 saves, but only two in the third period.
