Jaden Schwartz had two goals as the Seattle Kraken beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 on Sunday.

Jordan Eberle had a goal and an assist for the Kraken, which ended a three-game losing streak.

Eeli Tolvanen was the visitors’ other goalscorer, while Philipp Grubauer made 18 saves.

Seattle is 17-8-2 on the road.

James van Riemsdyk, Owen Tippett and Patrick Brown fought back for the Flyers, who have lost three of their last four games.

Tippett’s goal came on the power play, ending a 0-for-13 drought for the club in that context.

The two clubs will meet again on Thursday in Seattle. Before that, the Kraken’s five-game road trip wraps up Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Karlsson earns 3 points in Sharks win

Erik Karlsson had a goal and two assists on Sunday to help the San Jose Sharks win 4-1 over the Washington Capitals.

Karlsson was also instrumental in goals from Evgeny Svechnikov and Alexander Barabanov, the latter on the power play.

Karlsson is second in the NHL with 55 assists – just two less than Lightning leader Nikita Kucherov.

Tomas Hertl completed in an empty net for San Jose, which was ending an eight-game road trip with a 3-3-2 record.

Aaron Dell was perfect against the eight shots faced in relief to Kaapo Kahkonen. The latter left late in the second period after a collision with Evgeny Kuznetsov, when the latter collected an eighth goal this season.
