Sidney Crosby had a goal and three assists as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 5-3 on Sunday for a third straight win.
Evgeni Malkin hit the target during his 1000e game in the NHL, helping the Penguins wrap up a trip with a 3-0 record.
Rickard Rakell, who scored one goal and one assist, and Brock McGinn also scored for the Penguins. In the win, Casey DeSmith stopped 29 shots.
Phillipp Kurashev, Patrick Kane and Jujhar Khaira provided the fightback for the Blackhawks, who suffered their fourth straight loss. Arvid Soderblom made 20 saves in front of the Blackhawks net.
