The question of the superprofits tax, discussed for a few weeks and rejected by Bruno Le Maire, comes back with insistence and the idea, proposed by Olivier Faure (PS), to organize a referendum of shared initiative, seems to have germinated within of the group Nudes.

To do this, it is necessary to collect 4,800,000 signatures from voters, a figure below the number of voters who voted for the candidates gathered under the banner Nudes to the legislative ones. “We will campaign for this shared initiative referendum and we have even started, which will give us a head start”announces Mathilde Panot, referring to a petition launched by France Insoumise. “I think it’s a large majority because opinion polls show that 60% of French people want there to finally be a tax on these superprofits as many European countries do and recommend the IMF, the UN and the European Commission”she says.
