The candidate of Socialist Party for the 2022 presidential election is the guest of the Sunday in politics on Sunday 6 February. Health crisis, economic strategy, purchasing power… She answers Francis Letellier’s questions to some 60 days from the first round.

Anne Hidalgo is first questioned about the health crisis. While socialist parliamentarians defend compulsory vaccination, Anne Hidalgo assures that if she becomes president, she will not oblige to be vaccinated, but promises “to accompany with a lot of pedagogy so that there are as many people as possible who can do it”. On the economy side, she is asked about toll rates which have increased by 2% on average. Several candidates, from left and right, are calling for the nationalization of highways. An opinion that she does not share. On the other hand, I propose an alternative way to create a public establishment which would have to accompany the transformation of the highways. AT Currently, it is more in favor of a toll price freeze rather than a renationalisation.

Following the Ehpad Orpea scandal, Anne Hidalgo offers “a large public support service with home support as a basic principle and, for the very old, to have nursing homes with social pricing”. Finally, she is also questioned about her candidacy, after having affirmed in the columns of Release that she was “the legitimate candidate”.My candidacy is that of a woman, on the left, social democrat who has made ecology her own and who is part of both the great history of the republican left (…) and the vision that I propose. , it is that of a political family that wins everywhere in Europe”, she concludes.
