Summer Blue Circuit: Verzenay Lighthouse

A little history…

Verzenay Lighthouse was built at the request of Joseph GOULET in order to promote the brand of his champagne created in 1909. It will be the first reinforced concrete building in the region.

Today, the Lighthouse has been modernized and offers its visitors the opportunity to climb the 101 steps in order to admire a 360° view of our beautiful vineyard. The lighthouse is also an ecomuseum to understand and learn the history of champagne. At the end of this time travel, a champagne tasting will be offered from a selection of cuvées from winegrowers from the Montagne de Reims.

A summer at the Lighthouse

Throughout the summer period, Verzenay Lighthouse offers you a free concert program every weekend in its panoramic garden. On the program local and national artists will be there to entertain you, but will also be present, the producers of the region to make you discover their ranges of products. Visitors are invited to bring their picnics for a moment of sharing and conviviality in an exceptional setting that will delight young and old.
