Noura’s Secret Exposed
At Gustave Flaubert high school, Claire shares a shocking discovery with Ève: Noura Tazi is secretly using a prescription anti-diabetic medication. Ève cautions Claire, saying, ‘Don’t obsess over Noura and be cautious‘.
Meanwhile, Pablo is still determined to win Noura over. He invites her out for a drink, but she declines. Seeking help, he turns to Charlotte, who reveals, ‘Every time I approach her, she reacts negatively‘.
On another front, Dimitri is digging deeper into Noura’s nutrition coach. Disguised as a plumber, he informs the coach about a leak in the basement, prompting a visit. While they are occupied, Claire sneaks into the apartment, searching the office. She discovers the prescription notebook, snaps a photo, and leaves unnoticed.
Later that day, Noura heads to her room for an injection, only to be caught red-handed by her mother. Noura tries to pass it off as a vitamin shot, but Stéphanie is not convinced. Frustrated, Noura storms out of the house.
That evening, Claire meets with her ex-boyfriend, Manu, who is also a police captain. She shows him the photos she took at the nutrition coach’s place, leading Manu to conclude that they are indeed stolen prescriptions.
Élisabeth Faces a New Threat
The day following Michel Vireau’s arrest, the former soldier accused of being the sniper, he unexpectedly refutes all allegations of murder. He claims to be merely a conspiracy theorist and survivalist.
The police find an arsenal of weapons in his home, which he insists are merely preparations for a potential societal collapse. Given his unusual profile, the commissioner requests a psychiatric evaluation.
Meanwhile, Marie-Sophie continues to pressure Marc for an insider scoop. She urges him to obtain a screenshot of the sniper from the police, noting, ‘What if one of our readers identifies the killer?‘ Marc promises to follow up with Élise.
After the interrogation, Élise attempts to contact Élodie, but her calls go unanswered. She leaves a message, apologizing for her actions: ‘You’re not a nuisance at all; it’s me. I just want to meet and talk this through calmly‘.
Thierry overhears this conversation and seizes the moment to criticize Élise once more, warning her about her treatment of others, including her girlfriend: ‘Be careful Borrel, you might end up all alone, do you realize that?‘
Later, the police receive troubling news: the ex-soldier previously arrested is not the real shooter. The evidence, including the shooter’s photo, does not match him, nor do the weapons found at his residence correlate with the ones used in the attacks.
With this setback, the police are back to square one. Élise expresses her growing doubts about solving the case to Alex. Will she be able to uncover the true perpetrator?
In the evening, Élisabeth comforts her husband, Alain, regarding the shooter. Unbeknownst to her, she has become one of the next targets. We witness the shooter preparing ominous letters for several individuals, including Élisabeth.
These letters bear a chilling message: ‘50,000 euros or you will be the next victim. Do not inform the police, or you will face deadly consequences…‘. Will Élisabeth comply with this menacing demand?
