On August 9, 2011, François-Xavier, candidate for season 3 of Secret Storybetter known by the nickname of FX, died, hit by a car, at the intersection of departmental roads 49 and 17, in the night, around 00:50. A witness of the drama, had recounted the event. He had then established that this death of the young man of 22 years was indeed a suicide. “Suddenly, a man who was on the roadside, arms outstretched, ran towards our car as if he wanted to throw himself underhe reported to Closerat the time. But unfortunately, it was another car, on this same little dimly lit departmental road, not far from St-Etienne-de-Montluc, near Bouée, one kilometer from the house where FX lived, which put an end to the life of the latter. While this Tuesday, August 9, 2022 marks the sad 11th anniversary of his death, the witness continued his story as follows: “Time to realize what had happened, we turned around. Surely the person needed help. We put on full headlights, honked our horns, but there was no one there.“Having seen the former candidate of Secret Story get out of a way, they decided to go down it. Nothing. Then, turning around, they then saw again the silhouette of François-Xavier out on the road.
FX pounced on it
“We saw in the distance a white car arriving, full headlights. And then, again, the silhouette of FX appeared on the side of the road opposite the car which arrivedsaid the witness. He was rambling. We tried to warn the vehicle to slow it down, but to no avail. FX pounced on it. After a glide, he landed in the ditch.“They then went to check if the drivers of the vehicle were well, before calling the emergency services. The latter, who arrived on the scene ten minutes later, “found the body far enough from the impact“.”It was already too late. He was shirtless, with rolled up shorts and tights, without papers on him. It was a rescuer who recognized him. It was suicide, no doubt. The driver, young, was very shockedlike the one who accompanied him“, said the witness to our colleagues.
