Sudan: the first French nationals arrived at Roissy CDG airport

On the morning of Wednesday April 26, the first French nationals who lived in Sudan arrived at Roissy CDG airport (Val-d’Oise). Live on the spot, the journalist Jordan Klein specifies that they were notably welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna. “Here, we met humanitarian workers, in particular from International Solidarity, who are waiting for French nationals but also Dutch nationals”says the journalist.

A debrief of humanitarian workers with nationals

“The next step is a debriefing (of the humanitarians, editor’s note) with these people, to find out what happened there, to find out what they can improve on their work on the spot, since the next step, c “is to return around the areas of clashes. They informed the Quai d’Orsay, to help the Sudanese nationals who had to flee from the bombardments”reported Jordan Klein. “There are a lot of people to evacuate”he added, adding that a 72-hour ceasefire is underway in Sudan.
