We thought it had disappeared, and yet… The coronavirus is still raging and Michel Sardou
is living proof. The 76-year-old artist announced bad news on December 2, 2023. While a concert was planned at the Brest Arena in Finistère, the interpreter of Love sickness had to cancel his performance at the last moment, four hours before the concert.
On his Instagram account, Michel Sardou
apologized for this last minute cancellation “for medical reasons” and due to a “possible seasonal infection. “Many viruses are circulating at the moment,” he explained on his personal account. “The artist and the production are sorry for the inconvenience caused”indicated his team before continuing: “further information will be communicated at the beginning of the week”.

Michel Sardou cancels two new dates
But the news from the start of the week is not better. Indeed, once again through his Instagram account, the 76-year-old artist has just announced that two new dates are canceled. The singer having contracted Covid-19. “Michel Sardou having tested positive for Covid, the Brest concert, scheduled for Saturday December 2, had to be canceled a few hours before the scheduled time. Unfortunately the artist will not be able to honor the shows for Tuesday December 5 and Wednesday December 6 planned in Clermont-Ferrand, for the same reason”is it possible to read in the publication posted a few hours ago.
The artist and his team hope that he will be restored for his concert planned in Geneva on December 8. “The entire TS3-Fimalac Entertainment team is working to see if postponement dates are possible”took over the production in order to compensate fans holding tickets for the canceled shows.
