Nearly 100,000 customers are without power in Quebec on Friday evening due to strong winds.
The most affected regions are Montreal, the Laurentians, Montérégie, Lanaudière and Outaouais.
Hydro-Québec indicated on Twitter that its teams are mobilized on the ground to restore power.

In the Laurentians, nearly 70% of residents, or 24,950 customers, no longer have access to electricity. In Lanaudière, it is about 40% of clients.
In Montreal, approximately 30% of residents are affected by the outage, or 31,734 customers.
The violent winds, which blew up to 74 km/h in Montreal according to Environment Canada, caused several equipment breakdowns.
Recovery times vary from region to region. Hydro-Québec invites its customers to follow the status of the situation on its Info-pannes website.
