Two walks are organized every day of the week. In 1h15, passengers discover wilder corners of the river and the animals that live there. All on an electric and very quiet boat. It is partially powered by solar energy.
The Compagnie des Bateaux de Metz organizes two walks each day departing from Quai Paul Vautrin, between the Moyen-Pont and the Régates messines. At 2.30 p.m. and 4 p.m., the curious can embark for 1h15 to discover the Moselle.
The boat skirts the Isle of Butterflies, passes in front of many marinas and joins wilder corners of the river where passengers can expect to see ducks, herons and even beavers.
“Le Graoully”, a very quiet electric boat
The 20 meter long boat can accommodate up to 70 people. She works atelectricity partly supplied by solar panels installed on the boat which is therefore very quiet.
Baptized “Le Graoully”, the boat has a little plush messin dragon installed on its bow. A mascot “less scary than in the legend, but cuter”according to Captain Benjamin.
In addition to walks, the Company also organizes meals on the boat or “aperitif boat”, the timetables can be found on the website: bateau-gd-vacances.com.
