(Montreal) An agreement in principle is emerging in the labor dispute between the unions of childcare workers and the government of François Legault.
In a video released this morning, the CSN notes that an agreement in principle could be presented on Wednesday.
“We are actively working to try to have an agreement in principle. If everything goes as planned, we would have a possible agreement in principle that would be presented to our unions. [mercredi] afternoon, ”notes the CSN.
Almost 400 CPEs affiliated with the FSSS-CSN have been on an indefinite general strike for almost a week. The workers of the CPEs affiliated with the CSQ should normally start an indefinite general strike on Thursday, but could be presented with a proposal for an agreement in principle on Wednesday.
