Strike by Loto-Québec professional staff | An agreement in principle is reached with the SPGQ

(Montreal) An agreement in principle was reached Thursday between Loto-Québec and the union of professionals and professionals of the government of Quebec (SPGQ), whose members were on strike at the beginning of the month.

Loto-Québec’s 455 professionals – all represented by the SPGQ – were on strike from August 8 to 12.

Loto-Quebec’s professional staff had voted in July for a strike mandate of up to 20 days to be taken Monday through Friday. He had also endorsed a general strike mandate of indefinite duration, every working day, from 6:31 p.m. to 6:59 a.m., Saturdays and Sundays as well as public holidays.
