strained relations with Patrick Fiori and Kendji Girac in “The Voice Kids”? Vitaa’s ex-sidekick reveals they put him through hell!

It is on July 4, 2023 that the new season of “The Voice Kids”started. A major change because since its creation, the telecrochet of TF1 has always aired on Saturday nights. But who says new edition says change, and it therefore goes through the day of broadcast of the program. This Tuesday, you will be able to find two new coaches who have joined Kendji Girac and Patrick Fiori: Slimane and Nolwenn Leroy.

The former has already taken on a similar role in the Belgian version of the programme, but this is the first time that he will be judging young talents. A major challenge, which required a lot of preparation. In particular on how to announce to certain young candidates that they were not going to continue the adventure. “It’s not aborting any dream, it’s making sure the kids come out of there with even more dreams”explains the ex-sidekick of Vitaa when our colleagues from TF1 ask him what a “good coach” is in “The Voice Kids”.

Slimane hazed, like all new

In effect, Sliman, who recently spoke following the riots of the past few days, hopes, through his words, to give hope to the candidates whose adventure stops along the way: “I hope it will have made them want to do even more and to surpass themselves. When you are dealing with children, you should not shatter their dreams but help them refine them”.

Fortunately, he was able to rely on emblematic coaches, sitting on the famous red armchairs for a few years, to give him advice… although. Indeed, still during the interview given to our colleagues, the winner of “The Voice” in 2016 revealed that Patrick Fiori and Kendji Girac gave him hell. “They hazed me hard”he confides with humor.

Indeed, the latter have not ceased to block it on several occasions when they felt that a talent was going to escape them after having been charmed by Slimane. But this one assures him and qualifies his remarks: “Patrick and Kendji were very welcoming”. “They made us a place of king and queen (to him and Nolwenn Leroy: editor’s note)”, he then rejoiced. We may be able to find out the effects of this “hazing” in a few hours, when the first episode of “The Voice Kids” this Tuesday evening.
