Story(s) in May

Wanderings and Frou-Frou

Wandering from Bastia to Folelli, Histoire(s) en Mai is interested in the toilet: that of the heroes of novels and historical characters, that of Bastia women and Bastia people of yesteryear… And also _to the jackets of beautiful books, to the rustling of silks, to the patterns of Indian or artistically painted paper, to the chic undergarments of our palaces_…Essential element of performance in opera, theater and cinema, the actor’s costume is as much narrative as aesthetic; hence the care of the director in choosing the costumer. But the writer, factotum of his novel, is responsible for all tasks, including that of dressing his characters!
