Stopover in the Azores | The Press

Two Quebecers, Lyne Lefort and Simon C. Vaillancourt, serve as guides for a 1 hour 30 minute trip to the Azores, these nine volcanic islands lost in the middle of the Atlantic, as part of the Great Explorers tour.

The landscapes are magnificent, but the directors promise to go beyond the simple postcard and to make known the inhabitants of the archipelago in The Azores – Under the spell. They had to adapt to a sometimes harsh climate, which led them to demonstrate great authenticity and generosity.

Mass tourism has not yet landed in the archipelago, which extends over nearly 500 kilometers.

The Grands Explorateurs tour continues until April 17 in some fifteen cities in Quebec, after which the film will then be offered online.
