For the very first time in his career, director Steven Spielberg will take part in the Toronto International Film Festival, which will be held from September 8 to 18.

His film The Fabelmans will have its world premiere in the Ontario capital, the festival announced in a press release.
Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Gabriel LaBelle, Jeannie Berlin, Julia Butters, Robin Bartlett, Keeley Karsten and Judd Hirsch are among the cast of the feature film whose story is inspired by the childhood of Steven Spielberg.
The Fabelmans follows a young man who discovers a heartbreaking secret about his family. The film also explores how cinema can lead “to seeing the truth about others and oneself”.
