According to L’Informé, the shares that Stéphane Plaza holds in the real estate agency to which he lends his name and his image are valued at more than 125 million euros. An astronomical sum, which is the envy of people, such as TF1, which launched a label of campsites inspired by Camping Paradis, the successful series worn by Laurent Ournac since 2006.

This Thursday, May 18, “L’Informé” unveiled the new crazy project which M6 and Stéphane Rotenberg are working on together. The star host of the group, who has hosted the successful Top Chef culinary competition for fourteen years, is working in the greatest secrecy on the opening of a network of Top Chef restaurants, for which he will also lend his name and image. This is not new for the businessman who also presents Beijing Express, since a few months ago, Stéphane Rotenberg joined forces with the boss of Bistrots Pas Parisiens, Hakim Gaouaoui, to launch a dozen restaurants. in Île-de-France, called Bistrots Top Chef. The concept ? The menus offered in each of these restaurants are entirely prepared by former glories of the M6 ​​culinary competition, like Camille Delcroix and Arnaud Delvenne.

1.4 million euros

Just one year after the opening of this chain of Top Chef Bistros, it is clear that the success is there: more than 85,000 customers have been counted. An obvious success that prompted Stéphane Rotenberg to join forces with Hakim Gaouaoui by becoming a minority shareholder in one of his companies, HG Développement. The shares held by the host of M6 are estimated at 1.4 million euros.

By embarking on catering, M6 could inject 5 million euros for the Top Chef restaurants which could open everywhere in France in the years to come. With this tidy sum, M6 undertakes to promote Top Chef establishments on all of its channels, through dedicated advertising space. A legal operation, which the chain had already used for Stéphane Plaza Immobilier, and which had proved to be more than effective. So, is Stéphane Rotenberg about to become M6’s new goose?
