Stéphane Bern leaves Paris: the host puts his furniture up for auction

Previously, Stéphane Bern had already shared his desire to leave the Capital. A wish motivated by the quality of Parisian life which has wearied the host of France Television who is preparing to sell the furniture of his Parisian residence, located in the Pigalle district, in Paris.

Currently in full preparations for his move, Yori’s companion has therefore organized a sale of his furniture which will take place on January 25, 2022. After calling the auction house Daguerre, the famous lover of French history and heritage will present the furniture from his Parisian home. An auction which will allow viewers to discover the various anecdotes hidden behind each piece and which have punctuated the journalist’s daily life for more than eighteen years. This belly will also take place from next January 25 at the Drouot hotel, after the exhibition of its furniture from January 22 to 24, 2022.

A real fed up

As a reminder, on November 14, Stéphane Bern announced to our colleagues from Parisian his wish to leave Paris. A move about which the journalist had poured out, last November 13. Now wishing to settle in the “countryside”, and more particularly in a former royal and military college (located in Eure-et-Loir) that he had previously bought in 2013, Stéphane Bern had had enough of the state unhealthy city of Paris. “I’ve been living there since I was 10, and I can’t take it anymore. I went through confinement at home, in Perche, where I’m lucky to have more space“, he explained, before continuing, not without exasperation:”As my job allows me to work largely remotely, I made the choice to return my Parisian apartment in Pigalle, where I had lived for eighteen years. I will be back for work, but will now be accommodated. (…) Despite the small pain in my heart, I am relieved to leave. I felt like I was going crazy …
