Stéphane Bern grandson of Louis XIV? This disturbing portrait unveiled on France 2 which sows doubt!

Broadcast on France 2 since 2018, the program “Let yourself be guided” is making its big comeback this Tuesday, March 7, 2023 on the channel. Presented by Stéphane Bern and Lorànt Deutsch, the program will this time be dedicated to the marvels of the Renaissance. The opportunity therefore for the two animators to travel to the heart of the 16th century with a new guided tour of the Louvre as well as an unprecedented excursion to the castles of the Loire.

As is the tradition of the show, these locations are recreated in 3D and filming takes place in various French castles such as Clos Lucé, Chenonceau and Romorantin-Lanthenay.

Always as passionate about visits, Stéphane Bern will thus discover a “superb portrait of Louis XIV” before revealing a surprising anecdote by pointing to a painting: “Imagine that there are around fifty visitors a year who send a photo of the grandson of Louis XIV, it is Philippe V, Duke of Anjou, I was told: ‘We saw you at the Château de Chenonceau!’ So do you really think there is a resemblance?

Faced with the negative responses of his sidekick Lorànt Deutsch, the host then insists: “No stop, there is an air of resemblance anyway! I project myself by saying to myself: ‘Me old? It must give that!’.

Pray that my life will be long because it will be necessary to repay for a few years”, he recently. “I’m in debt for the rest of my life but I love it, it’s my life’s work!
