The world number one enters the track, Tuesday, July 4. After Novak Djokovic the day before, it is now up to the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (n°1), titled at Queens and the main candidate for the final victory alongside the Serb. Opposed to Frenchman Jérémy Chardy, for whom this could be his last career match, he will open the day on court number 1 from 2 p.m. On the Central, it is the title holder kAzakhstani, Elena Rybakina (n°3), who will take place in the first rotation against the American Shelby Rogers. A nice program will follow on this court, with Andy Murray against Ryan Peniston, then Aryna Sabalenka (n°2) against Panna Udvardy.

Ons Jabeur (n°6) and Cameron Norrie (n°12) are also out, as are Stefanos Tsitsipas (n°5), opposed to the ghost Dominic Thiem, Petra Kvitova (n°9), Barbora Krejcikova (n°10 ), Daniil Medvedev (n°3), Holger Rune (n°6), Maria Sakkari (n°8) or even Alexander Zverev (n°19).

Twelve French engaged

For the French, twelve of them are on the courts. The matches interrupted the day before due to rain, including the Franco-French meeting between Benjamin Bonzi and Harold Mayot (Mayot leads 6-3, 5-3) and that of Quentin Halys – who won the first two rounds against Daniel Evans – will resume in the afternoon.

Alizée Cornet and Varvara Gracheva will face Nao Hibino and Camila Giorgi respectively in the second rotation. Arthur Fils will make his debut on the London turf, while Alexandre Muller and Arthur Rinderknech will face off on court number 5. Also to follow are the performances of Adrian Mannarino and Ugo Humbert.
