It seems that the aspirants to the post of Prime Minister must utter nonsense, make blunders as some have done in recent days to attract the attention of the media. The adversaries take the opportunity to denounce the culprits and, by the same token, make sure in turn to refocus the attention of the media and the electorate on their campaign.
The electorate does not want to drink cockfights, but rather viable and unifying projects that inspire hope for the future of our generation and those that will follow. We deplore the absence of young people and their lack of interest in politics. Why would she be interested, this youth, when the soup offered to them is revolting, tasteless? And don’t try to buy my vote with any calculation.
If no one is able to solve the problems that have been plaguing us for too long, admit it or stop making promises that only result in a mirror to the larks. Leave the square and allow new minds to make known their aspirations, their vision and their capacity for action.
