Instagram’s new app update isn’t exactly appealing to its most popular female users. The Americans Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian castigated, like many other Internet users, the new interface of the social network, which notably incorporates the codes of another very popular application, TikTok.
The two sisters, who are respectively followed by 360 and 326 million subscribers, shared on their accounts, in a story (ephemeral content that can be consulted for 24 hours), a visual calling for the return of the old version of Instagram, published by Tati Bruening. The photographer has also launched a petition on the Change.org platform. It had collected more than 164,000 signatures on Tuesday evening.

Since its last update, Instagram has given pride of place to short videos, on the model of TikTok. Thus, the photographic content published by user subscriptions takes up less space than before.
