‘Star Wars’ and ‘Harry Potter’ actor Paul Grant dies at 56

Actor Paul Grant, known for his roles in the films Harry Potter And Star Warsdied at the age of 56, his family confirmed on Monday.

The comedian had collapsed outside London’s King’s Cross station on Thursday, according to the British newspaper The Sun. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brain dead. The device that kept him alive was disconnected on Sunday.

“I’m devastated… No daughter deserves to see her father leave so soon. He was loved and recognized [pour son travail]“, entrusted the daughter of Paul Grant, Sophie Jayne Grant, on the airwaves of the channel Sky News.

Father of three – and also a grandfather – Paul Grant made a name for himself by playing the role of a Goblin in the films of the series Harry Potter and that of an Ewok in Return of the Jedithird installment in the saga Star Wars. He also starred in Labyrinth (1986) and Dublin people (1987).
