The actress Catherine Benguiguistar of the series H broadcast on Canal + between 1998 and 2002, rocked everything on the series on April 15, 2022 in Sérisonique, the Télé 7 jours podcast: slippages by Jamel Debbouze and Ramzy Bedia until the reason for his departure.
While currently found in tomorrow belongs to us on TF1, the actress tells everything about the series that revealed her, H broadcast on Canal + between 1998 and 2002. Alongside Jamel Debbouze, Ramzy Bedia, Eric Judor, Sophie Mounicot and Jean-Luc Bideau, Catherine Benguigui embodied Béa, intern at the hospital and suffers from band pains. A colorful cast and very dissipated filming… “It was funny. There were fire extinguisher battles. Sometimes we were waiting for Jamel or Ramzy, they had gone to try out their new car on the Plaine-Saint-Denis highway. Well, that was madness. It was punk, as they say,” she says.
Despite the laughs and the constant jokes, she nevertheless left the series at the end of season 2, then in full success. She explains in particular the frustration of being a woman on the set: “It was very complicated. I had the impression that the character did not exist, or only existed in times of victim. There were times when it was difficult”. Before adding: “I was fed up, even if it was a character, of taking it to my face. I wanted there to be an evolution, and it was going around in circles. It’s a choice that was at the beginning difficult to assume, but I was so not well at the end that I did not see the point” she explains.
Without regret, the one who now interprets Mona Caron in Tomorrow belongs to us assures that she made the right choice!
