Star Academy: “Leaks” turn life upside down in the castle, the production takes a radical decision

Since the launch of the new season of the star Academy, the students in competition are totally cut off from the outside world. In their castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, they are only entitled to one minute each day to call their loved ones, and not one more! The time can therefore be long, especially with the pressure mounting each week. This is why the production had the good idea of organizing visits to them every Sunday from former candidates.

The premiere took place last October 23 and was inaugurated by Mario Barravecchia, Jean-Pascal Lacoste, Patrice Maktav and Carine Haddadou, all from the first season in 2001. And unfortunately, it will be the last! Indeed, their arrival created problems since they would have shared far too much information with their successors. Neither one nor two, the production made the decision to cancel all future visitswhich should include Francesca Antoniotti and Sofiane Tadjine (season 4 of the star Academy in 2004).

We were free to do what we wanted

In TPMP People, Francesca Antoniotti revealed that she had been notified at the last minute and expressed her disappointment. “I received a little phone call this morning, very, very nice from the star Academy. (…) And I am told no ‘so actually sorry Francesca but you won’t be able to come. We cancel every Sunday with the star academicians because the students are tired. (..) We can’t (everything) tell you and in addition there have been leaks“, she had reported.

These famous “leaks”, Jean-Pascal Lacoste and Mario Barravecchia were able to confirm them during their passage on the Twitch channel of David Barbet, although a little surprised. “Because apparently I have it from a fairly reliable source, we would have given too much information on the outside. Personally, I don’t remember that.a”, explained the fiancé of Delphine Tellier. He remembers, on the other hand, not having said “bullshit“, which earned them to “beep“. Mario has a small idea on his side of what could have provoked the wrath of the production. “It’s my fault, it was me who told Carla and other people, that they were number 1 in streaming with their single, he admitted, also admitting to having revealed to them that they were often the subject of subjects in Do not touch My TV. “By the way when I said TPMP, it beeped. At the same time, the production did not brief us: ‘when you enter the castle, you don’t say that, not that’. We were free to do what we wanted“, he underlined. Nevertheless, he assures it: no mobile phone was transmitted to the students.
