Created by Laurence Nerbonne and Marie-Élaine Thibault, the play “Changer le monde” calls for solidarity and arouses hope, in these times when we all need it, in addition to inviting people not to never stop dreaming.
“The piece ‘Changing the world’, I imagined it with several people singing it so that everyone has their own personality, their own story and that in the end, all these stories come together. It’s “fun” to see young people who, despite their differences, find themselves in a kind of community singing it. Being the first woman to write the credits for an epic, grandiose and unifying show like “Star Académie” is really a source of great pride for me,” Laurence Nerbonne said in a statement on Tuesday.
We can of course hear the theme song at the opening of Sunday Variety on TVA.
The recording of “Changer le monde” brings together the voices of 15 Academicians, namely Audrey-Louise Beauséjour, Olivier Bergeron, Yannick Bissonnette Powell, Julien Charbonneau, Éloi Cummings, Laurie Déchène, Sarah-Maude Desgagné, Marily Dorion, Sandrine Hébert, Gaelle Khoueiry-Jaber, Édouard Lagacé, Krystel Mongeau, Jérémy Plante, Mathieu Rheault and Camélia Zaki.
The third Variety of “Star Académie” will be presented from 7 p.m. next Sunday on TVA. The daily is broadcast from Monday to Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. The whole adventure can also be followed on TVA+.
