The National Hockey League (NHL) is pulling out all the stops for the Stanley Cup Finals presentation and three musical megastars will offer pre-game concerts.
The Bettman circuit announced Friday the identity of the artists invited to a series of shows which will be staggered from games 1 to 3.
Saturday, before the first duel of the final round, DJ Marshmello will set fire to the powder at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Philadelphia native, real name Christopher Comstock, has racked up billions of streams on content delivery platforms thanks to hits like “Alone” and “Silence.”
Two days later, a completely different atmosphere could reign at the Golden Knights amphitheater when Atlanta rapper Lil Jon takes the microphone. Active since the late 1990s, he made a name for himself by lending his voice to titles like “Turn Down for What”, “Get Low” and “Gasolina”.
Finally, in the first matchup presented at the FLA Live Arena on Thursday, another name well known to radio stations was chosen by the NHL: Flo Rida. The “Low” singer will perform a free concert outside the arena at Sunrise.
All Stanley Cup Final games will be broadcast on TVA Sports.
