Between 2 albums of compositions, the group Debout sur le Zinc likes to lead alternative projects and this is the case with Boris Vian. Françoise Canetti who is the editor of Vian, proposed for the 100 years of the birth of the singer and writer, to make a record with his songs.
In the publisher’s archives, they had the chance to access texts with the mention “music to do” written in the margin, so they got down to composing the music.
Music on unpublished texts therefore, but also on some that already existed, Debout sur le Zinc took up the challenge, in joy and good humor, as if Boris Vian were one of theirs. And it is this record that they will present in concert at Tourouvre.
