Agricultural Show: stakeholders in the agricultural world await action from the executive
Agricultural Show: stakeholders in the agricultural world are awaiting action from the executive – (FRANCE 2)
After the promises announced by the government, farmers are demanding concrete answers. The Agricultural Show, which opens Saturday February 24, will be an opportunity for them to capitalize on the attention.
The agricultural unions do not want to release pressure on the executive. “It is planned that we will also be in front of the doors of the Agricultural Show, at the opening. The President must not enter the show without having given us concrete answers. We do not want small measures”said Alice Avisse, farmer in Boissy-Fresnoy (Oise) and member of the FDSEA, Friday February 23.
Farmers want action
The objective is clear for farmers: after promises, they now want action. “Income, environmental problems and administrative problems”, listed Jean-Louis Fenart, president of the Rural Coordination of Pas-de-Calais. Farmers want to take advantage of the Agricultural Show to capitalize on attention. A major debate will be organized there on Saturday February 24, in the presence of Emmanuel Macron and stakeholders from the agricultural world.
