Stade Toulousain unveils its Europe jersey, in tribute to Ernest Wallon

Stade Toulousain has released the gilding for the jersey dedicated to the 2021/2022 European Cup season. In a video published this Monday, December 13 on social networks, the Toulouse rugby club unveils the tunic that the red and black players will wear for the Champions Cup matches. Including the next at home, against the Wasps.

It pays homage to Ernest Wallon, the first president of Stade Toulousain when it was created in 1907. On this “third jersey”, red is predominant, with golden writing. And on the bust, there is a white vertical stripe, surrounded by two black stripes. A reminder of the white tie worn by Ernest Wallon, lawyer and law professor. Ernest Wallon died a hundred years ago, in 1921.
