Stade Toulousain internationals return to training on Tuesday

Stade Toulousain will find its French internationals this Tuesday afternoon at the training center behind the Ernest-Wallon stadium. Here’s what their return will look like.

A check-up to get started

The players who have just achieved the Grand Slam benefited well on Saturday. Some were already back at Ernest-Wallon on Sunday evening to witness Toulouse’s victory over Montpellier (35-10). This Tuesday afternoon, they will take a battery of tests to take stock of their state of physical fitness.

Depending, the staff will adapt everyone’s recovery schedule. Some players, little or not used during the Tournament (Flament, Ramos, Lebel), could take part in the collective training planned in stride.

Manage my choices

Who against Lyon?

All these players are available to the club for future matches. No holidays to give. We could therefore see some Slamards on Sunday at Ernest-Wallon for the reception of Lyon in the Top 14. As a hooker, with the concussion suffered by Ian Boubila against the MHR, we will find at least one of the two internationals in this position. Peato Mauvaka or Julien Marchand. Matthis Lebel, Thibault Flament or Thomas Ramos will undoubtedly have ants in their legs as well. We will see how those who have played the whole Tournament or almost (Dupont, Ntamack, Jelonch, Baille, Cros…) are managed.

The staff will recover vital forces at the best of times since the calendar is tough: the LOU then a derby in Castres before the double confrontation against Ulster in the Champions Cup.
