A young man was stabbed during a fight on Sunday morning in the Ville-Marie district.
An argument broke out shortly after 5:45 a.m. on Atwater Avenue, near Maisonneuve Boulevard, during which a 32-year-old man stabbed a 24-year-old man in the upper body.
They were both taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Montreal Police Department, the two men knew each other.
A perimeter was erected in place to allow forensic identification technicians to clarify the circumstances of the fight.
