(St. Louis) St. Louis Blues officials placed defenseman Torey Krug on injured reserve Tuesday with a lower-body injury.
Team management said Krug’s case will be reassessed in six weeks.
Krug, 31 and in his third season with the Blues, has five goals and 12 assists in 31 games this season.
The Blues have recalled Tyler Tucker, a 22-year-old defenseman, from their AHL clubhouse Springfield.
Tucker has appeared in four games with the Blues this year and received five penalty minutes.
