Police were called around 4:10 a.m. to go to Hickmore Street, near Merizzi Street, in the borough of Saint-Laurent.

When they arrived, they found a first victim on the spot, conscious and injured in the upper body. His state of health was unknown Sunday morning by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

The second victim went by herself to the hospital center and her life would be out of danger.

“According to the first information, a gathering was taking place in a room located in the industrial sector and a conflict would have degenerated outside. And that’s when the two victims were injured, ”said SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils.

The suspect(s) fled before police arrived.

A security perimeter was erected to allow investigators to analyze the scene and better understand the circumstances of the event.

The investigation is continuing.
