St. Lawrence | A business targeted by gunfire

(Montreal) A commercial building was targeted by gunfire on Friday morning. The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is investigating this event that occurred in the borough of Saint-Laurent, which caused no injuries.




Montreal police received a call for an alarm around 4 a.m. When they arrived, the officers noticed several projectile impacts on the front door of a business located on chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, near boulevard Cavendish.

They also located several casings on the ground, said agent Véronique Dubuc, spokesperson for the SPVM.

No suspects have been identified in this case at this time. Forensic identification technicians and investigators are heading to the scene. They will try to understand the circumstances of this event.
