(Montreal) Another episode of shots fired in the direction of a building in Montreal will be the subject of an investigation by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
This new attack occurred around 4 a.m. on Friday. She was reported to the 911 emergency call center.
Firearm projectile fire was directed at a building on Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, near the intersection of Boulevard Cavendish, in an industrial and commercial sector of the Borough of Saint-Laurent.
This intersection is located very close to a busy highway junction, that of highways 15, 40 and 520.
Shortly after their arrival on the scene, the SPVM police officers noted bullet holes on a door of the building and found projectile casings on the ground. No injuries were reported and no one was arrested.
At the end of the night, a security perimeter surrounded the building. Forensic identification technicians were to go on site at dawn to collect evidence for use by police investigators.
