Despite the increase in credit rates, cash purchases are experiencing a certain increase.

Roger Jacques Vluys is one of the French people who bought in cash, that is to say without borrowing. The latter uses this method while selling his house in the north of France. “We found this solution before moving into our permanent home“, he explains, as he and his family prepare to acquire a property in Morbihan.

A case far from being isolated in Morbihan

In the Morbihan department, this practice is far from being an isolated case. “We have noted an increase in a certain type of buyer profile, particularly those selling their main residence”, says Angélique Grojo, Century 21 advisor in Plouharnel (Morbihan). This method has increased from 10 to 20%. Foreigners or those who wish to change their lives by selling their house for a smaller one are the profiles observed.
